Privacy Policy
The Known Will of God ("we," "the app") is a free iOS app that plays KJV Bible audio lessons. This policy explains what data we handle and — more importantly — what we don't.
What we collect
Nothing personally identifying. We do not create user accounts. We do not require an email address, name, phone number, or any sign-in. We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash-reporting services, or third-party trackers.
What stays on your device
The following data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad and never sent to us:
- Your listening progress (which books you've finished, playback position)
- Your 66-day reading plan status and streak count
- Which audio files you've downloaded for offline listening
- App settings and preferences
iCloud sync
If you are signed into iCloud on your Apple device, iOS may sync a small amount of key-value data (your progress and reading plan status) between your own devices using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store. This data is transmitted and stored by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We never see it and we cannot access it. You can disable this at any time in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → iCloud.
Audio streaming
Audio lessons are streamed from Cloudflare's R2 object storage. When you stream or download a lesson, your device makes a standard HTTPS request to the audio server. Cloudflare's infrastructure may log the request (IP address, user agent, requested file) as part of normal server operation, subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy. These logs are not linked to any user identity because we don't have one. We do not review these logs for any individual user.
Children's privacy
This app is suitable for all ages (rated 4+). We do not knowingly collect any information from children or anyone else. See "What we collect" above.
Data sharing
We have no data to share. We do not sell, rent, or transfer any user information to third parties, because we do not collect any.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our end. To remove all app data from your device, delete the app in iOS.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
